Take a classic American appetizer of chicken wings and give them a little Mexican flair with this marinade. Tequila Lime chicken wings make a great main dish for any summer barbecue.




Tequila Lime Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Fresh Chicken Wings
- 2/3 cups Tequila
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp Garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine tequila, honey, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken wings and stir to coat.
- Cover bowl and place in the refrigerator for 4 hours to marinate.
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and place a cooling rack on top.
- Remove wings from the marinade and place on the cooling rack.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip and bake another 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and place on preheated gas or charcoal grill and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°.
- You can also finish baking in the oven if you don't have a grill. Just make sure you bake until they reach 165°.
