Making crispy chicken parmesan is a lot easier than you might expect. The key to the crispy breading is to make sure your butter and oil are hot, sauté them until just browned, and finish cooking in the oven while the cheese melts.








Crispy Chicken Parmesan with Pasta
Ingredients
- 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts thin sliced
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 cup Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Pasta of Choice
Dredge
- 1/2 cup All purpose Flour 1st station
- 1/4 tsp Salt 1st station
- 1/4 tsp Paprika 1st station
- 2 Eggs 2nd station
- 1 tbsp Milk 2nd station
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs 3rd station
Instructions
- Set up your breading station according to the ingredients above.
- Season your chicken cutlets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat butter and oil in sauté pan over medium high heat.
- Using tongs, take one piece of chicken at a time and dredge in the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally in the panko.
- Add to pan with hot oil. Cook until breading is crispy and then flip and cook the other side.
- When all pieces are crispy place on a sheet pan.
- Top each piece of chicken with 1/4 cup of pasta sauce and then 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Place baking sheet in preheated 350° oven.
- Bake until cheese melts and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°.
- Remove from oven and serve with a side of your favorite pasta.
